The
H-1 Hummers comfortably navigate the spectacular
but rugged terrain of the rainforest in the
Kohala Mountain Range, on the northern tip
of the Big Island. This area is totally inaccessible
to the public. The trip goes from 200 ft. to
2300 ft. elevation, and features several scenic
waterfalls, pristine riverbeds and ravines.
Our local guides are well versed in the extensive
historical and cultural background of the area,
as well as the flora and fauna of the rainforest.
At several points on the trip there are spectacular
panoramic coastal views. There is a stop for
beverages and snacks where guests may swim
in an exclusive hidden waterfall pool.
