Real Beef by Real Cowboys - Get Ready for the 6th Real Beef by Real Cowboys this year to be held at Anna Ranch Heritage Center in Waimea on August 14th. This is a beef tasting event to raise money for the HCA Education Scholarship Fund and Anna Ranch Heritage Center's educational programs. This year's event promises to be bigger and better and you'll want to make sure to attend. Tickets are on sale now and it is suggested to get your tickets early for this popular event.
Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 at the door. In Waimea tickets can be purchased at: Anna Ranch (call 885-4426), Parker Ranch Store, Kamuela Liquor Store, R.R. Olson/Lextron, or Walco (in Kawaihae). Tickets will be available right up until the event and will also be available at the door. |

38th Annual Ho`oku`ikahi Establishment Day Hawaiian Cultural Festival - The public is invited to experience the "Bicentennial Celebration" of the
unification of Hawaii by Kamehameha the Great in 1810. Royal Court
ceremonies, traditional warrior exhibitions, cultural demonstrations,
traditional crafts, music, games, double-hulled canoe rides, traditional
food tasting and many more activities will be available for you to experience. Below is a list of N? KE'ENA HANA (Workshops) that will be offered from 11:00am-3:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Additional times for ceremonies and other activities will be added to this page as they become available, so check back as the event gets closer.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - This ultimate endurance event
- a 2.4 mile swim, 112-mile bike and a 26.2 mile
run - attracts thousands of the world's best athletes,
and thousands of volunteers from the Big Island
help make it happen! Hawi Town is the turnaround
for the bike portion of the race. Come on out and
support the triathletes.
